Subcision is the only procedure that can lift scars that have tethered down due to the acne scarring process. It, therefore, improves rolling and boxcars acne scars. The degree of improvement can be in the range of 10-50%.
The results from subcision treatments like acne scar release are permanent. Patients can achieve a permanent reduction in the appearance of acne scars with this technique.
Scar excision: The surgeon removes the scar and closes the skin, if there’s enough adjacent skin.
Z- or W-plasty: The surgeon repositions the original scar along the natural lines of the skin.
Skin grafting: Common for burns, the surgeon removes the scar and uses skin from another area of the body to cover the scar area.
Skin flap: Similar to a skin graft, the skin and tissue below are moved from another part of the body to cover the scar site.
Intralesional injections are effective for a wide range of indications, are easily performed, and are relatively safe. The rationale for intralesional therapy is simple: to deliver a medication directly into a specific skin lesion to treat local tissues with minimal systemic effects.
They are composed of a natural substance like hyaluronic acid or calcium hydroxylapatite. This solution when injected into the affected skin area improves the appearance of scars and provides quick and natural outcomes.
Chemical peels are helpful for treating a variety of skin issues such as acne, acne scars, pigmentation, age spots, melasma, wrinkles and fine lines.This solution exfoliates the skin and removes the topmost layer for the skin.
Laser technique is a safe and effective method that helps to reduce the appearance of acne blemishes & acne scars. It works by exfoliating the skin’s topmost damaged layer and also stimulates the production of collagen.
Laser resurfacing can lessen the appearance of fine lines in the face. It can also treat loss of skin tone and improve your complexion. Laser resurfacing can’t eliminate excessive or sagging skin
